Gibson Cottage - Self catering accomodation near Ullswater

Gibson Cottage is a cosy 18th Century cottage next to Gibson House in the popular village of Stainton. Minutes from Ullswater and Penrith and a short drive from Keswick, the cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Northern Lake District, the quieter but still scenic Eden Valley and the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Stainton village has two pubs, both of which serve meals and a village farm shop with a tea room that serves very nice lunches. Rheged Visitor Centre is only half a mile from the cottage.
The cottage oozes character with many quaint and interesting features including exposed beams, a dual-aspect, open fire between the living room and kitchen and oak panelling in the bedroom. It is centrally heated and logs are also provided for the fire.

This has an oak kitchen (fitted in 2007) with ceramic hob, fan-assisted oven, microwave, and fridge with freezer compartment.
